One of the luckiest things that can ever happen to you in life, is to have a happy childhood
— Agatha Christie

Our Foundational Objective

Destinato found it’s origins at the turn of the decade as a dedicated group of do-gooders eager to relieve urgent rise of homelessness in US urban centers. While we had some noted success - housing and assisting over 700 children, women and families over a half decade - it wasn’t enough. For every one we housed, a hundred more hit the streets. So we formally incorporated as a 501c3 nonprofit to achieve our burning desire

Our goal: to end youth homelessness within one generation.

But then we realized - it’s not as simple as building homes. Children need happy childhoods to become well-adjusted adults. If we don’t fix the issues, then they’ll just continue into the next generation. And because the systems in our society don’t work like they should - whether health-care, education, therapy, job-training - we realized that this is an opportunity to build ones that do.

Our How: By building a closed continuum community that can the accelerate the development of youth.

In the nonprofit sphere we call this a ‘closed continuum of care. We call it EUTOPIA, because while it’s designed for children, it’s intended for all of humanity - testing new ways of living, working, and enjoying life together and sharing our communities and way of life with everyone, only after we’ve first housed all the women, children and families currently on the streets.

Our Why: Because we believe we can create paradise for all of us

If we continue to do nothing, we’ll inherit a world of malaise, indifference and apathy. Unchecked capitalism is efficient at managing resources, but is fundamentally unintelligent. Our happiness today, and the continued prosperity of our species into the future - depends on us making decisive steps forward towards something better. Destinato is that movement.

Eutopo, from the Greek ευ (excellent) and τοπος (place) meaning ‘place of cultivating excellence’ as oppose to utopia (υ+τοπος) meaning ‘nowhere or fictional place.’ A Eutopia is possible, a utopia is theoretical

What EUTOPO Will Include

The technology to build our future society doesn’t exist yet so we’re building those technologies now. Our nonprofit think tank is hard at work at the following breakthrough technologies for implementation for our smart community model - EUTOPO.

EDUCATION

From-scratch redesigned curriculum designed to vastly improve the minimal viable quality of worldwide education. Holistic focused education with skill-acquisition, moral development, multiple language learning, and 22nd century job training.

Healthcare

Shouldn’t effective healthcare be valued by how it keeps you healthy, not just how it responds to things when they go wrong? Our new preventative healthcare will work in tandem alongside humanities existing diagnostic based system to keep people healthy with a controlled plant based diet and predictive machine learning.

GOVERNANCE

The Executive Technocracy - a smart data informed system of political decision making that promises to automate 98% of bureaucracy and decision making. Designed as the perfect fusion of business and political interests, backed by the to actionable advance basic human dignity and core values.

JUSTICE

Advancing restorative justice through artificial intelligence. Recommended alternate sentencing, outsourced objective morality, predictive law making, and transparency.

ECONOMY

Developing Destini - the world’s first true 2.0 blockchain platform that will grant transparency to impact investment, offer a stable currency platform for the developing world, deliver a Universal Basic Income (UBI), and track success outcomes.

Human beings will be happier - not when they cure cancer or get to Mars or eliminate racial prejudice or flush Lake Erie but when they find ways to inhabit primitive communities again. That's my utopia.

DESTINATO RIGORE

One of DaVinci’s two guiding maxims - Destinato Rigore meant to ‘achieve one’s destiny’ through Rigore - a middle Italian concept likened to single minded purpose to an objective. Rigore also means to be both flexible and persistent, remaining intellectually curious to achieve our collective goal - a better human destiny.

I have been impressed with the urgency of doing. Knowing is not enough; we must apply. Being willing is not enough; we must do.

But before solving homelessness - our first objective is ending famine

Homelessness won’t kill you - starvation will

When people ask why Africa and the third world isn’t developing as it should. Well the reason is agriculture. Produce is the essential first step towards bringing a country to a better place - promoting economic development, healthcare, and everything really. However, because countries are often too poor to develop their own agriculture, they spend the little income they do receive on importing produce and when crisis hits, completely reliant on foreign aid often too little too late. So we’re aiding development of the third world by making countries food sovereign. This is the first step towards making a better world.

Our new invention allows us to quadruple yields at a fraction of the price of conventional farming. We are on track to end famine completely within two years.
